David was raised in the Vail Valley, attending Eagle Valley elementary, middle, and high school. After graduating with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and minor in Business Administration from Colorado Mesa University, David came back to elevate the youth of the valley. He has five years experience coaching and training physical exercise on an individual and group level, from leading Latino community programs to coaching young students.

As the mentor program manager, David's role is to support and guide students towards high school graduation, higher learning, and holistic prosperity. He uses anecdotal stories and his family values to guide and  support his students.  He is passionate about the health and wellness of his community, and advocates for a strong support system to overcome obstacles.

In addition to serving on community leadership boards, David currently leads his worship band every Sunday at his local church. He is currently training to complete a full distance Iron-man triathlon.
