Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised here in Eagle County, Colorado, Leonardo Rosales is proud of their Mexican heritage and is fluent in Spanish and English. They understand firsthand the importance of representation and the unique challenges young people in diverse communities face. This personal journey fuels their dedication as a Youth Development Coordinator at My Future Pathways, where they play a pivotal role in supporting youth through mentorship, academic guidance, and community engagement.

 

Since joining My Future Pathways, Leo has been a driving force behind impactful programs designed to foster resilience, leadership, and personal growth among youth by helping students create spaces where the youth feels empowered to set and achieve meaningful goals. Committed to developing programs that reflect the unique strengths and needs of the community, Leo cultivates strong, trusting relationships with students, educators, and families that last well beyond the school year.

 

Currently pursuing a B.A. in Human Services with a minor in Psychology, Leo is also focused on developing strategies that foster students' social-emotional well-being, academic success, and future readiness. Their holistic approach to youth development includes not only guiding students toward their goals but also equipping them with the skills needed for lifelong fulfillment.
