Pedro was born and raised in Gomez Palacio Durango Mexico and moved to the USA as a teen(18) just like many of the youth he served. Pedro knows the importance of a mentor since he never had one, and he knows that sports can shape and change lives for the positive. He is bilingual and bicultural, loves snowboarding, plays any game with a paddle or racquet, and enjoys, golfing (terrible player), favorite soccer team Real Madrid since the Hugo Sanchez era. He is a father and has been an Eagle County resident for over 25 years.

For the last two decades, he has worked in youth development in the Eagle County community. His experience runs the gamut from developing youth programs to coaching to overseeing and executing sports academic programs, serving the underserved youth of our communities, and supporting local families with afterschool programs.
